Eventim brings Croatia closer to a global audience: Bandsintown and Spotify additional sales channels

26 February 2026

This year, Eventim is expanding its international sales network and placing Croatian organizers with their music events in the league of the world's largest projects and promoters, ensuring them access to a global audience and the most comprehensive level of visibility and data support for the domestic cultural and entertainment scene to date.

Through the Eventim platform, Croatian events will connect even more strongly with international audiences and through global channels such as Bandsintown and Spotify, regardless of whether the artist is part of their ecosystem. This integration allows Croatian events to enter the same content discovery infrastructure as programs in London, Berlin or Vienna.

“The global sales network that Eventim is establishing is not an additional channel. It is a new economic tool. When an event enters an ecosystem like Bandsintown and Spotify through our platform, we are not just talking about promotion, but about a data signal that shows who follows us, which markets people come from and what motivates them to travel. This data allows us to plan the time, location and volume of the program even more precisely, but also for destinations to understand more clearly what kind of return they get from investing in events,” points out Damir Vranić, Eventim’s director for Croatia and Slovenia.

He emphasizes that the Eventim global sales network is helping the experience industry move from intuition to data-driven management, which is the only sustainable model for developing and stimulating local market growth in the long term.

Eventim – data and business infrastructure

In this way, Eventim is no longer just a ticketing service, but a digital infrastructure that connects artists, organizers, domestic tourist destinations and audiences on the global market, as Bandsintown is used by more than 100 million fans worldwide. Spotify generates 2.1 billion listens per month.

Through a combination of international distribution and advanced analytics based on data on fan preferences and movements, Croatian organizers and domestic tourist destinations are provided with tools to plan programs, investments and communication based on real data, not assumptions. In countries where Eventim has already activated these partner integrations, ticket sales are growing by double digits.

Economic multiplier and partner to destinations

In the experience economy, events are no longer a separate segment of cultural life. They are an economic multiplier, a driver of tourist demand and an instrument for destination management. Through its network and technology, Eventim enables Croatia to position its events as generators of identity and economic momentum, while destinations gain a strategic tool for managing tourist flows.

The new system implemented by Eventim Croatia brings several key effects. First, it increases the international exposure of Croatian music events through a sales network that covers the whole of Europe, which directly supports cultural and entertainment tourism, especially towards the emitting markets of Austria, Germany, Slovenia and Italy, but also beyond. Second, it allows organizers to gain insight into audience behavior in real time, from the first encounter with the announcement to the final purchase. Third, it gives destinations an additional tool in planning off-season content and managing tourist flows.

Eventim analytics as a basis for decisions

Eventim analytics, based on millions of transactions per year processed by the system across Europe, provides insight into patterns that show how audiences make decisions and when interest turns into purchase. This reduces risk for organizers and gives destinations a clearer picture of the economic impact of events, which is a key element in the long-term development of cultural, tourism and economic policy.

The new international sales network established by Eventim does not only represent a technical upgrade, but also a strategic positioning of Croatian events in a system that combines global data, local specificities and the economic logic of demand. Thus, Eventim's ticketing system, the first in Europe and the second largest in the world, enables domestic events to become visible to an audience that is not only more numerous, but also willing to travel for the experience, while Croatian destinations get the opportunity to position their cultural and touristic identity on a global level.
